Background & motivation

Easy Employer offer cloud-based solutions and services, that tackle complex workforce management requirements. Our client was refocusing its strategy and required a sale to achieve their goal of developing a significant other business opportunity.

Challenges

The campaign resulted in a shortlist of interested acquirers who were all software aggregators and who informed us they use inflexible internal rules for valuing software as a service businesses. Several of them put forward offers that were below our client’s requirements stating they had “no room to move” in relation to their offers.

Approach

Oasis Partners identified targets including software as a service business, software aggregators and private equity firms invested in the sector. The campaign had a strong international focus.

Results

Oasis Partners used the competitive tension it had created during the campaign to ensure our client achieved the result they desired.
